OUR
STORY
We began business as the Music Studio of McLean over 28 years ago.
After several years, several partners and several
McLean
locations,
Marshall
decided to set out on his own and secured
space in an old, red Sears-built home in the heart of the
McLean
business district. He ran a successful
teaching studio there for the next 17 years.
In 2001 the opportunity to open a retail establishment presented itself and
Marshall
decided to expand his operation. With
the help of wife Gay, daughter Sophie, and friend, Larry Bearce, Maley’s
McLean Music was born. The old store location was quaint and loaded with
charm and charisma. As so often happens however, progress overtook us and
“they paved
Paradise
and put up a parking lot.” The old
store had to make way for condominiums and Maley’s McLean Music had to find a
new home.
Maley’s McLean Music is now located on Old Dominion Drive
in the Chesterbrook
Shopping Center. We are happily situated right next to
the Rite-Aid. We employ the same highly qualified faculty for which
Maley’s has always been known. We also offer band and orchestra
instrument rentals, repairs and music retail. Our commitment to service is
second to none. We are here to help you on your musical journey; whether
you are looking for lessons, equipment, rentals or repairs - we deliver. Our
customers often become friends and are the heart of our business. Please
